OpenERP client v5.0.1

Following the OpenERP editors, Taktik is pleased to provide to the community the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard version of OpenERP client v5.0.1.

It is highly appreciated. I would I could compile it myself

but i can't yet, so I do relay on your work.

Thank you very much for your work on Mac OS. I tried to install the latest release but got an error and the installation did not go through. It is a fresh install of Open ERP:

You can not launch the OpenERP client from the Disk Image.
Try to copy OpenERP client into your "Applications" directory, it should work.

I thought it was an install, not the client itself.

all is fine until openerp server installation i get the following error

File "/Users/michelhuot/Desktop/openerp-server-5.0.1-0/setup.py", line 45, in
execfile(opj('bin', 'release.py'))
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'bin/release.py'

i tried many things but did not find any solutions

any idea????

Maybe you should launch the server with the openerp-server.py file directly.

/usr/bin/python2.5 openerp-server-5.0.1-0/bin/openerp-server.py -r admin

Thnaks for your answer so quick
but still doesnot work may be to new to such programming
i load the latest version 5.0.3 and try your answer
i guess i am to newbie to such programming actually i dont know how to exactly put each file in the right folder
here is the answer to your line

Actually the folder is on my desk
try to put it in the folder you give put still doesnot work

Any chance of having a new version of GTK client for mac. Thanks for helping us mac freaks out !

I install the soft without problem. Although when I want to launch the calendar or anything else in relation with the graphics, open erp stop and i have to launch it again ...
I think it is maybe a problem with my python ? could you help me please

Should be resolved in the latest builds.
Please try the latest 5.0.7.
